According to the Cincinnati Prep Sports Blog it was sent out on the coaches list serve.

I see that the artist didn't have the guts to sign their masterpiece .

Unbelievable. This will do nothing to resolve anything.

IMO this is over the limit. Is this meant to spur debate or merely to further inflame derogatory comments?:irked:

By listing it as the "Private School Sports Store" this cartoons makes you think a lot of Private Schools are cheating too, which is totally unfair and not true. Shows a total lack of class, especially since it is unsigned.

Chenoweth, I wonder why you didn't print out the entire article that Ryan Ernest wrote about the Cartoon, instead of just the offending cartoon? Just curious?

As they say, the rest of the story!

"The following cartoon surfaced on the Kentucky high school football and girls' basketball coaches listservs. Some people aren't real happy about it.

Luckily for everyone in Northern Kentucky, this issue has always been more of a downstate problem. Area schools -- both private and public -- tend to stay out of the fray and just play ball. Not a lot of recruiting accusations, not a lot of calls to make separate playoffs for private and public schools.

If you ask me, the cartoon is pretty childish. Whaddya think?"

I don't know who the author is but here are two people that are involved in disseminating the cartoon (and this is assuming their email addresses were not spoofed):

Steve Cornelius [email protected]

and

Greg Scholl [email protected]

Imagine that both are from the Somerset area.

One of the addresses is from the Commonwealth Journal Homepage (a newspaper) but the one that bothers me the most, is the one that is a Taxpayer funded E-mail address. Just upsets me that the taxes that I pay for Kentucky Schools, is used by someone to send such childish rubbish.

I just wonder what my State Senator and State Representative will say but such use of public property.

Yep. That's where I saw it first.

If I lived in the Somerset area, I'd be ashamed that that guy was representing me. He's a complete buffoon.
