Is Rose Hill the best 16th region team ever?

Featured Replies

Is Rose Hill the best 16th region team ever? I'm not saying they are this year but what about next year if they continue to improve like they have from year to year. I'm just looking for opinions on this. Maybe the older prepsters can compare them to teams in the 50's, 60's, and 70's. They are very impressive this year but just think about next year, WOW! If they continue to improve the sky is the limit for this team. What are your thoughts? Should they be considered one of the best ever?

First things first - Are you being serious or are you being sarcastic?

Why did I know this was coming?

I think the premise of this thread is to be "sarcastic." LOL.

Out of respect to the history of the 16th region, I'll just answer with a simple, no.

Dang you Dan Tanna you beat me to the punch.

I say absolutely. Elliott County start 5 D-1 players, tell me one other 16th region team in the past 40 years that can say that. If you don't believe me go read the prediction thread.

The entire state of Kentucky put about 10 or so kids into D1 hoops low, mid, high major, how in the world can one 16th region team have that many D1 prospects? Who are the offers from? Just curious.

Read post 21 of the link above. A few lopsided victorys can make people alittle over zealous.

Louisville and Lexington combined may have not put in more than five D1 players last year, Louisville only had two that I know of.

No way! If that were the case, they would be the #1 ranked high school in America. Even those teams don't have 5 D-1 players on their team.

The truth is this makes no sense. There have been a lot of great teams and this just sounds like poke fun at some previous threads on here. There are some good teams in the 16th this year and in the past. Give this one a rest and just be happy that the 16th region has some good things to talk about this year.

A FEW?? Look at Elliott's record this year. Of the 18 games they've played . . . only 3 have been close in points.

I can honestly say that each member of this starting line-up has been watched/contacted by schools such as UK, WKU, Marshall, Murray (just to name a few, sorry but I can't remember ALL the schools that have been mentioned). I know that this was discussed on other threads, and I've talked personnally to some of their family members to add further verification to this information.

And my post (#21) was in responce to your own which stated that "half" the starters on RH were being (or had been) contacted by D1 schools.
