Is Rose Hill the best 16th region team ever? I'm not saying they are this year but what about next year if they continue to improve like they have from year to year. I'm just looking for opinions on this. Maybe the older prepsters can compare them to teams in the 50's, 60's, and 70's. They are very impressive this year but just think about next year, WOW! If they continue to improve the sky is the limit for this team. What are your thoughts? Should they be considered one of the best ever?

Elliott co is still # 1 in my book and Rose Hill is a close 2nd . But it is a funny thread.

Absolutely! Without a doubt by the time they are finished with their careers. I see 3 All A State Championships & 2 possibly 3 State Championships! The D1 recruits will not end with Euton & Jackson but I can see at least 2, possibly 3 others going D1.

Are you kidding me? Of course they are!!!! Anyone remember the Thrilla in Manilla? The Champ prevailed, and was hailed as the "Greatest". Well this was the "Big Chill in Owingsville". And the champ came out on top. I know that there's another game to play, and the young Royals better prepare, get their road work in, but lately they have been taking some shots from some pretty good opponents (and some verbal shots from some on here) and have emerged battle tested and approved.

 

I told you folks that the Jackson boy is not going to be trapped very easy, and when the double came, he elevated and hit his open teammates giving his team a numbers advantage. Only in America, baby!

A FEW?? Look at Elliott's record this year. Of the 18 games they've played . . . only 3 have been close in points.

 

I can honestly say that each member of this starting line-up has been watched/contacted by schools such as UK, WKU, Marshall, Murray (just to name a few, sorry but I can't remember ALL the schools that have been mentioned). I know that this was discussed on other threads, and I've talked personnally to some of their family members to add further verification to this information.

 

And my post (#21) was in responce to your own which stated that "half" the starters on RH were being (or had been) contacted by D1 schools.

 

I said alot in that thread but you cannot attribute that post to Michael Corleone. The post you have referenced was by Uncle Jed. Plus, he said that half of Rose Hill's guards were D-1, which I believe they are.

Quite simply, No. Elliot isn't either and there is not a team in this years region that is close to qualifying for that honor.
