The game of the year in the 12th Region is finally here. The sharpshooting Raiders, #2 in the 12th region who are averaging 83ppg over the last five and three straight of 84+ points, will host the #1 team in the region, Lincoln County. More than likely, McCreary Central will stand at 18-2 and Lincoln County at 14-3 or 13-3 entering the game and both teams are #1 and #2 in scoring, respectivly. The Raiders, who are off to their best start in decades, have averaged over 10 "threes" a game over their last three game. The Raiders went to Stanford and won 77-74 last season.

I think this one will be a dandy. Rob Jones is one of the most under rated coaches in this end of the state. I would love for his team to take the Patriots, but Jeff Jackson is one of the best in the entire state and will pull this one out. Maybe Rob and the Raiders will take the rematch in the 12th regional tournament. Lincoln 71 McCreary 63.

I think Lincoln is just a notch or two better than the rest of the teams in the 12 Region this year. I'll take the Patriots 74-60.

I would like to see McCreary win, and think they have a good chance of winning, but I believe Lincoln will pull it out in a close one.

Home court will be huge in this matchup for the Raiders. I am not going to make a prediction, but am looking foward to seeing Watts play. He impressed me very much last year.

 

This seems to be the best two teams in the region, I would take a LC loss here if it meant a win in the region.
