This will be a competitive game. I was impressed with the Raiders last year when they came to LC and won.

 

LC is a different team this year, they love to run and pressure the ball. Spurlin is finally getting is health back, which adds a new dimension to the team. This will be a very close game, and will be very difficult for the LC to pull out. I will gladly trade a loss here for a win in the region,:ylsuper:

 

I agree. Both teams are a lot different. McCreary also pressures and really runs and shoots the long bomb. Although Lincoln is far superior than both Danville and Scott County, TN, McCreary will rack up points quick. They put up 23 straight points to start the game in the first 1:48 and held Danville scoreless. After falling behind 0-3 early against Scott, McCreary went on a 12-0 run in :55 second. If the threes fall for McCreary, they'll pull the upset. Both teams are A LOT better than they were last year.

lincoln is the best in the 12th........they r tied for 14th in the state so the little RAIDERS better pull up the pants

I'm going to say it is a really close game.... Will come down to if the Raiders can keep Young out of the middle (which I am going to say they can't!) and if Lincoln can guard Watts effectively (which I am going to say they can't do that either!). Should be a dandy of a game.

I dont think Watts can stop Keeton from Lincoln. I have to go with Lincoln County by 15 points.

Polls are good for what? Tomorrow we will know who is better or has the better night. Watts is good but he gets all the shots, Keeton has players around him where he dont have to do it all. He takes alot less shots and same amount of points is all I'm saying. Watts is a great basketball player but Lincoln has three players that can go for 30 points on any night, that is a fact. It will be a great game but Lincoln by 12 or more. I said the same thing about Madison Central and they win by 16.

Probably because Lincoln has 3 of the top players in the region.. And according to the Cats paws Ryan young is considered the best player in the region.. I think it will be a great game that I wish I could make it to but I think Lincoln wins in a close one..

Watts doesn't even average the most shots on the team. The Raiders have two players that can easily score 30, and another who is dead steady at 15+ and will bust into the high twentys on any given night. Fact? If that's the case, McCreary has 15 or 16 that can go for 30 points or more on any given night - however, they won't and Lincoln won't have many either. Lincoln won't win by double digits... even if the scoreboard says they do (it won't.)

McCreary can shoot the ball very well--I'm just not sold on their defense. They gave up 14 points to a pair of Southwestern's 8th Graders on Friday (a freshman added 5 more) if they can't shut down middle school players how are they going to stop Lincoln? By the way what is your "Lincoln won't win by double digits even if the scoreboard says they do" quote supposed to mean? Are you already readying an excuse or what? If Lincoln travels to McCreary and wins by double digits I'd expect that they would have earned it and proven their spot on top of the region. That may be one of the weakest quotes I've ever seen. Just because you beat us bad doesn't mean you beat us bad--even at our place. :lol::lol::lol::lol:

I'm saying it how everyone else would say it if it was a 5-7 point game and then Lincoln wins by 10-12 because they made their free-throws the last :45 seconds of the game. McCreary won the game against Scott by 24 points, but that was a 35-point game from the begining. Scott was able to make up points in the final few minutes after the subs entered for McCreary. I think that quote is easy to take out of context.

 

Making an excuse? No. McCreary will win this game.
