2008 Trinity

Barring an unforeseen event, I don't see anyone currently at THS playing QB next season ahead of Cam Smyth. He has the athleticism, arm, head and escapability to run the show. He will step up and be a leader in the fine tradition of Trinity senior QBs. I look forward to watching him play. He's a great young man too.

Cam will definitly start because he has a great arm and he is smart. What I am saying is Kragthorpe needs to learn the offense and pay some dues before he is even considered as a backup for Cam. Jackson is a wise choice as a backup for Smyth.

Jackson played some DE this year, right? He looked good doing it. QUOTE]

Jackson didn't play an DE this year. You are probably thinking about Beau Bennett who was also a QB, and he did do a good job at DE and should get considerable playing time next year.

You became Trinity supporter in Kindergarten?

As far as Coach Beatty goes, he's not going to make everyone happy. Of course, Coach Lampley received grief while he was winning 50 games in a row.

I knew I wanted to be a Rock in the second grade at St. Vincent dePaul, some 39 years ago.:dancingpa

First game attended: Trinity 44 Manual 0 in 1973.

At least you get good seats when St. Xavier and Trinity hook up.:D

Coach Beatty spoke at Our Lady of Lourdes the other night for 75 minutes. And then hung around for another hour answering any question put to him.

As long as he stays this excited to be the head man at Trinity, the Shamrocks are in good shape.

Yep but I think it was actually first grade! :thumb:

Coach Lampley is a great man! :thumb:

I can good seats to pretty much anything! :thumb:

Back to the thread.

44 and 45 years. I think that may qualify us for knowing just a little bit about ROCK football.

I am right with you except with St.X Tiger football.

Right you are. Thanks. As Coverdale put it yesterday, joining Bennett in the former QB Club was TE Carrico. They get back to work now building for 2008 and #19.

Man where has the time gone? We can't be that old, can we?

I'll admit when you're right....only after I've been proven wrong, or I can't find any other way to spin it.

Think this just became a P&R thread.
