Not only was Tim second to Green, he had the second fastest time in the Finals for all classes. Faster than John Cole, Winston Guy, EJ Fields, Kebbie Scott, et al.

In addition, he is strong enough to maintain that degree of speed with all the football equipment on. BTW, is there any way to persuade Mr. Green not to play this year? It sounds like he is a holy terror. He didn't play last year, did he?

^ yeah he played last year, but Male was down a bunch...he couldn't do it by himself, just like Tony Driver couldn't his sophomore or junior years.

Upcoming 7 on 7s involving 2008 Shamrocks per school newsletter:

6/14 Host Evansville Reitz noon-2:30PM (Saturday)

6/18 @ Highlands 9:00-12:30PM (Wednesday)

6/21 Host North Harrison (IN) noon-2:30PM (Saturday)

Nice honor for Jordan per Jody's blog:

"Trinity High School linebacker Jordan Whiting was the only Kentucky player ranked among the top 100 in the Lindy's College Football Preview.

The magazine listed the top 100 prospects from the Class of 2009 and Whiting was No. 47.

The 6-foot-1, 220-pound Whiting has committed to Ohio State University. He's been a starting linebacker for the Shamrocks the past two seasons, helping the school to a pair of state titles."

I rapped with Jordan at the Y the other day....he is looking mean.

Did your rap go something like this?

He's mean

He's lean

A player this good is seldom seen

He's gonna bring home number nineteen

Best of all, he plays for the Big Green Machine

(I know, I know, I won't give up my day job)

Heard from the grape vine, that John King will be playing football at U of L. What type of stats did he have at Trinity to play at a D-1 school?
