January 4, 200818 yr He looked like he was trying to make life or death decisions with every throw this season, IMO. I think Michigan will be better off without him. From what I saw of him last year, it looks like he has the making of being a GREAT QB IMO....
January 4, 200818 yr Probably the best thing for this young man. He's not going to fit in with the style of offense that Michigan will be running under RR. Might be better off transferring to another Big 10 school, if allowed.

January 4, 200818 yr Why would he want to come to UK when UK will be doing some of the same things Rodriguez is going to do at Michigan? Well, he'd have to have confidence that he could win the starting spot over Pulley. With the type of offense that Kentucky ran under Woodson, I think Mallet would do great. If Mallet would end up at Kentucky, which he won't, then we could move Pulley to somewhere else -- like safety.

Two Buck recruits who he is actually hanging out with right this second (two of the best high school lineman in the nation) are saying he's in the bag. I've been hearing how "well" the week is going far too often... :irked: :lol: I heard he showed up wearing a UM shirt and has said he is genuinely interested in UM, however the feelings is that everyone is trailing the Bucks for his services. He is also now rooming with Brewster his buddy and a Buck to be. I personaly do not think he will be coming to AA so I am expecting neither him nor Mallett next year. GT you have some inside info, is Threet the real deal and a better version for a passing spread than Mallett? I personally I think so because from what I have heard is he is more accurate in his passing , just not as strong of arm as RM. He was a gift for UM when he transferred and I hope he is good if Mallett says goodbye. I do not think David Cone is the answer.

Oh and also if your are a business man you know the importance of this: His last visit= Michigan. And yes Ryan Mallett is enrolled at UM and attending classes this semester. I know things can change but at least he is giving RR a chance to sell his product.
January 7, 200818 yr Not 100 percent accurate. His Mom came out and said she did not know if he would be at Michigan or somewhere else. Propably not going to be UCLA. If he does leave he is propably going where his QB coach goes. Propably Tenn. Recently fired UM QB coach Scot Loeffler is rumored to be a strong candidate for the same job at UCLA, so Mallet going to LA is a strong possibility.
