January 1, 200818 yr Can we please stop turning every thread into a SEC argument and talk about the actual games?
January 1, 200818 yr 431 total yards of offense isn't so hot? Did you watch the game? Ainge 58% passing. 66 yards total on the ground (2.3 yards per carry). Stupid trick play call in the redzone, putting Ainge on the sideline for 3 straight plays in the redzone leading up to a missed FG. ZERO second half points. Yeah, they weren't so hot. I'm a UT fan, and I'm glad they won, but it could have easily gone the other way.

January 2, 200818 yr As a UK student and fan, I know I should always root for the SEC but I find myself rooting against them in many games. I hadn't watched Wisconsin yet this year and I think if I had Donovan would have been one of my favorite players this year- is he going to play (or try to play) at the next level?
January 2, 200818 yr Fulmer and Cutcliffe almost cost UT the came. going way too conservative late and then settling for a FG attempt that was blocked. The Vols could have played a lot better down the streatch, but they do finish 10-4.

The Vols could have played a lot better down the streatch, but they do finish 10-4. Tha is typical of Fulmer. He loves to let his defense win games for them, which is WAY old school. Hopefully a new OC can come in and rev up the offense somewhat. At least if Crompton wins the QB job next year, we will have a mobile one back there.
