Game will be played on January 5th, at 4:00 PM. Kentucky is coming off a big win against a not so great FIU team. Louisville is coming off of a big win against an 5-9 Iona team. It's at Rupp so that is going to help the Cat's quite a bit. I think it's going to be hard for Kentucky to win this game. U of L is tough and should win this one. I think it will be a close game though, closer than some may think...

Louisville - 69

Kentucky - 61

This will be a nice mid-major battle.

Hmmm...

If Rick is the better coach, he didn't prove it when Billy knocked him out of the tournament last year.

Where was that game played? Was it RUPP? Oh, yes, I believe it was.

1 game...A&M did have Acie Law too, who Billy G didn't even recruit. Wait, did he? No I don't believe he did.

Pitino has over 500 wins, a national title, and a few final 4s. I know Billy hasent been coaching long but he hasent made it past the sweet16.

You admit that Tubby won his ring without his players and I'll take your argument. :D

All your saying is that Pitino has had the better career.

The question is who is the better coach: That comes down to "What have you done for me lately?" From listening to the talk radio shows this afternoon, theres getting to be a little unrest with Coach P in Louisville.

Kentucky comes back from behind and wins this one-

I'll go out on a limb and say UL has a better coach and wins. :D

Well, if UK were Texas A&M from last season, I would feel a lot better about the Cats' chances. :D

In all honesty, I have tried to make a compelling argument to myself as to why UK can win this game. There is no logical point to make if you really think about it. Healthy or not at the time they played them, losses to Gardner Webb and San Diego do not give me a lot of confidence.

UL has dropped 3 straight in the series and should be ready for a little revenge.

UL 72

UK 61

Go Cats.

Speaking of poor planning, our friend (wife's friend) is having a reception in Pensacola, FL on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. Guess who is required to attend? You would have thought she would of had a little more consideration for the UK/UL game

Ok, what has BillyG done latley?

Ok, what has BillyG done latley?

Had a sweet 16 team last year with an All American guard who knocked Pitino's team out of the tournament when he was playing them in Lexington.

3 Time Big 12 Coach of the Year.

Landed Patrick Patterson - one of the top freshmen to come to Kentucky in years.
