All right, I'm officially jealous.

 

I went to the Wednesday practice session at the 1996 PGA when it was there (the year it was about 180 degrees and there was a mild protest movement to wear shorts).

 

The Ryder Cup, even though the US side has been getting waxed lately for the most part, is my favorite golf event.

Oh yeah, mostly clothes and books. Needed some new jeans after shedding a few pounds; Mcmama was accusing me of trying to get into the rap music business there for a while...

I got an IPOD Nano, a new pair of Johnston Murphy's, a slew of clothes, a gift card to Best Buy and Williams-Sonoma, my parents gave my wife and I a nice chunk of change.

 

The coolest thing about this X-Mas was to watch my two year old react to what Santa brought her.....it was priceless.

And I agree with RP. Seeing the joy and happiness that each present brought to my twins was the best gift.

Some shirts and ties, and my 5 year-old son picked out a telescope for me that he saw on the computer. We like to 'star gaze' in the spring and summer.

 

I echo the sentiments about the children. Their excitment has taken Christmas morning (and the night before) to a whole new level.

Another year with both of my parent being here. They are 88 and 79...this was the best present.

 

My husband got me a new writing/computer desk, 20' TV to go in my new computer room. A Coach purse and a stocking full of goodies.

My son got me a gift basket from Cracker Barrel. I also got a Paula Deen cookbook, new set of dishes, Gift card to Red Lobster, and a stove top smoker.

 

Now I will be able to cook, eat, watch TV and get on BGP...all at the same time...
