1) Shelby Valley's road to Rupp will travel through Paintsville

2) June Buchanan will travel as far as their superstars can take them

3) I haven't seen any reason to believe that Elliott won't win the 16th - of course there are injuries and the old cliche that the only team that can beat them is Elliott

Of the three, I believe that Elliott has the best shot.

Have to agree. Elliott appears to be a pretty good team, and the rest of the 16th is looking weaker and weaker. Ashland only 5 over Covington Scott, who's way down this year, in their own tourney??

 

Shelby with only a "quality loss" to Male, and JBS playing reasonalby close to LexCath, and a chance to "show they belong" vs. Mason tomorrow; seem to be in good position to head back to Lex as well.

I wish Elliott the best going forward. Fairview is a very quality team. I wish both teams well going forward. This season is still two months away from being over. That being said, I know how hard the Elliott team will work going forward. I think Elliott will win if they play Fairview. But, I have nothing negative to say about any other 16th region team.

The graduation bug didn't effect Elliott. I just want this team to remain healthy and keep playing as hard as they have been. They are so fun to watch. They have talent and I doubt that any team in the state plays as hard as they do. They just lay it all on the line every night.

This Elliott team just plays BALL with guts.:lol:
