December 20, 200718 yr Then, they played Illinois :thumb: Hey, and that's OK. Illinois is a solid team, who I believe is playing in a BCS game?? Right?? I am pretty sure they are at least :thumb:
December 20, 200718 yr Actually the Buck's played 3 ranked teams all year long, and beat all three of them :thumb: :thumb: After a statement like this you want to sit here and argue about the schedules... ridiculous.
December 20, 200718 yr After a statement like this you want to sit here and argue about the schedules... ridiculous. No, I said that because of what letabrotherspeak said. I am not saying the Big 10 is better than the SEC because it isn't. I admit that and I have before. I am just saying come on, give the Big 10 credit. People act like it's a cake walk conference. I just wish people would wake up and see the Big 10 is tough, and it always will be..

I think you meant the Big 10 used to be tough, and the fans will always think so. If Mississippi State can continue their success, much like Kentucky has over the past few seasons, then the SEC is only going to get tougher. Vanderbilt is the "doormat" of the SEC East if you will; however, in the past couple of seasons they've produced a quarterback taken at #11 in the NFL draft (Jay Cutler) and the all-time SEC receiving leader in Earl Bennett. Not too shabby.
December 20, 200718 yr How did this turn into a tOSU/UK debate? Oh yeah... Buzzer. tOSU's schedule THIS YEAR was weak both OOC and in conference. That is VERY unusual. They typically play a good OOC game, and the Big11 usually puts up some better contenders than they did this year. Neither of those happened this year. And who cares about UK's OOC schedule? They're probably not going to be in the BCS discussion, and if they are, they will have played plenty of ranked teams by the end of the year.

From what I can tell, this is probably the truest statement in this thread:fight:
December 20, 200718 yr Hey MSU, that is Jodie Meeks in your avatar, right? Doesn't he look left-handed there?
December 21, 200718 yr Does Kentucky ever play, USC?? Because if so I want to know. The Buck's have them next year, and the year after. Oh, and that's a OOC game :thumb: Who was OSUs out of conference games this year?

December 23, 200718 yr Who was OSUs out of conference games this year? Washington was one of them, who when this schedule was made was in a good run. We have played good teams in the past and we will continue to do that. Playing USC for the next two years is saying a lot compared to Kentucky's OOC schedule. And don't throw in the SEC talk either, because OOC games have nothing to do with the SEC..
