Merry Christmas all! Just got back into town from Iowa a little bit ago.

 

Sorry I missed your return call the other night GT. Unfortunately, since I was staying in my mom's older sister's house, I managed to catch her cold and was laid up in bed.

 

Recovered well after lots of sleep and got a sweet Christmas present by winning $300 at the poker tables yesterday evening. I was smoldering hot, catching good cards and making good decisions, and all my bluffs worked but one or two in about 4 hours playing. Had AK AA AA on three consecutive hands in one stretch, then flopped straights on three straight hands on another series.

 

It was nice to have some good luck for a change and ended up a cool capper to what has been both a trying and rewarding year.

 

And now, it's off to bed, as work comes early.
