HHS Luke Stein Picks Up Offer

Featured Replies

In addition to his offer from Holy Cross, Stein has now picked up an offer from Gardner-Webb according to Enquirer writer Ryan Ernst.

He is currently the only player to have a D1/1-AA offer.

Congratulations to Luke Stein.

Congratulations to Luke Stein.

The fact that Luke Stein is the first and only player on the outstanding Bluebird team to have a DI/1-AA, speaks volumes for the Highlands team. Earlier in the year, didn't they defeat Trotwood Madison who has six or seven D-1 commitments?

Football is truly a team sport and well coached talent often prevails over pure raw talent.

Great side note about Simons too.

Like all of his other talents...I am sure this one too comes from his mother. After watching that one easy interception slide through his hands Friday, I think we all know what he got from dad.:D

Congrats to Luke!:dancingpa I know he's going to end up doing just what he really wants at a great school.:thumb:

Also that was a nice right up on Simons. Again a super kid. It really is too bad Ryan didn't get a hold of him earlier for interviews. He represents Highlands, the community , and his family very well.

Wondering if UC will come around and give him an offer. I think he could beef up and become a very good Div 1 Inside LB'er. He has the frame to put on another 15lbs.

I bet he weighs 225 or 230 right now...The only issue I see with him is speed at the major D1 level.. Don't get me wrong he is very fast and agile for his size I just can't see him playing LB at a major D1 school...I was thinking more like a DE...:ylsuper::ylsuper:

IMHO Stein is Highlands' best player and he has a bright future ahead of him in college.

Simons is a head hunter and he should be a tough match up for Bowling Green.

Congrats to Luke Stein!!!!

Check out the article on Drew Simons in the recently delivered December issue of "Inside Fort Thomas." Great player.

Congrats 55!!!! I hope you bring your 5A game this Friday. We all would love to see you in BG's backfield, A LOT!!!!!

"Best player" ??? Luke is a GREAT player...but he would be the FIRST to tell you there is no "I" in TEAM. On a team laden with All-Stars...even though some unbelievably were not voted in...he stands out. But you can't be best without the rest! Go LUKE...Go BIRDS...WIN STATE!

It was a compliment DMZ76. I never said there was in any "I" in team. Maybe he would be the first to tell you he doesn't stand out, he is a team player...

Just remember there is no "I" in team and there ain't no "WE." LOL
