Within that realm of love the sinner, hate the sin, can you tell a homosexual that it is wrong what they are doing?

I'm not saying in a condescending way, but in a caring way. Is that wrong?

I do not thinks its wrong to express your opinion, but I do not think you could badger them with the opposing view. Simply state your feelings and let them decide whatever it is they choose to do.

I do not have to like what the decision is, but it also shouldnt make me think less of them as a person. I hate a lot of things people do, but I can look past those things as a friend or colleague.

Anyways, as for the cause of homosexuality, it seems like the argument is much like the argument over global warming- neither way has been established, but one side tries to prove its opinion very un-scientifically.

We will see later the falsity of activists’ repeated assertions that homosexuality is

immutable. They seek to create the impression that science has settled these questions,

but it most certainly has not. Instead, the changes that have occurred in both public and

professional opinion have resulted from politics, pressure, and public relations.

How can something be genetic and morally wrong?

Tough question. In my opinion, a gene that makes you "more likely to be gay" (comparable to, say, "more likely to have excess rage", theoretically) I believe can be wrong to act upon, as the example would be.

If there were a fully gay gene, that could predict who would be gay and who wouldn't, then it would be a different story.

Either way, I'm not convinced genes have much of an effect at all.

Either way you look at it Homosexuality is not a choice therefore I don't believe it is morally wrong whatsoever.

That is not a foregone conclusion and begs the question.

I'm assuming you just completely overlooked post 17?

I understand that but it is just the way I feel about topic. Although I probably should have worded that post better.

I'm assuming you just completely overlooked post 17?

Nope. Like I said above, maybe I should have reworded it to not be so forward.

I don't believe homosexuality is a choice therefore I don't believe that it can be morally wrong.

The bible says homosexuality is an abomination. So whether it be genetic or environmental, it is wrong. Period.

I'll pose this question then. If homosexuality is not a choice, how do you explain those who have been homosexuals and "converted" to heterosexuals and vice versa? If that's not a choice, I don't know what is.

Does this apply in reverse to females?

Yes. It does. There is a part of the brain( I have no clue what is called at this moment, if requested I will look it up) but it connects the right and left parts of the brain together. In men that part is narrower than in women. In gay men, that part of the brain is consistently larger, as in females. and Vice Versa

My understanding of brain development in the fetus is that at a certain point, the body releases a chemical into the male brain that basically, damages the brain. This is the main difference in male/female brains. I'm assuming then that something goes wrong at this point in the homosexual.

I get it! Heterosexual men are not right in the head! I KNEW it! :p

Just playing Devil's Advocate, is there not a good chance (maybe even a likelihood) that said individual was living a lie for many years to assimilate more easily into society but once they got older and less worried about other's perception, they became true to one's self? Can you buy that as a reasonable explanation for your example?

I voted "B" by the way.
