April 27, 200818 yr Who are some of the kids on the Kentucky Kings and where are they from?Is this the group from S. Laurel? I think the Epperson twins from Southern (Southwestern) are playing with them.
April 27, 200818 yr There is only 3 South, kids on the Ky Kings. One of them has not played with them yet because of playing obligation with The Ville, 13 Under. The rest of the team is made up of players from different schools. The Epperson twins and a big man from Southwestern, one from Leslie Co. one from Clay Co. 2 from Knox Co. and 1 from Breathitt Co.
April 28, 200818 yr Coagulations to the G town Thunder and The Ville's, 13 Under teams. The both won their pools and made a very strong showing in the D2 14 Under state tournament. The Ville, team played gallantly against a very strong Scott Co, team. Only to come up short at the end. The Ville's, guard play was very good and played well inside on the glass. The never got out played or out hustled the whole game. They just got out manned at times by a bigger and stronger team. It was a great experience...for the kids to play against a team of Scott Co, caliber. Hats off to the The Ville.
April 28, 200818 yr Gongrat's to the Ville! 13U D1 State Champions and 14U DII State Runner-Ups.:thumb: Rep the Bluegrass State well in Nationals! They have the Thunder's number and almost pulled one out against a strong Scott County team.
April 28, 200818 yr HoopDr, it would of took a little more luck, to pull off the upset against that Scott Co team. Their one of the better freshmen to be teams, I've ever seen. I'm impressed with the talent on that team. Scott Co, is loaded for the future with that team and some of the players off the Thunder's team. Billy, ball is alive and well in Scott County!!!!!!!!
April 28, 200818 yr Thinking of Scott County's upcoming talent, now and later, reminds me of a poor man's version of Oak Hill. I wonder how long before a school like that pops up in Kentucky. I know they couldn't play in the KHSAA state tournament but I believe it will happen.

April 29, 200818 yr Is the GTown Thunder and The Ville, the only two teams going D1 13 under. Lou. Rising Stars definitely should. They have a quality club.
