December 2, 200718 yr I don't think any conference really flattered itself this year to the point that the BEast would suffer. :thumb: I don't see the Big East losing any ground either (couldn’t get much worse), however I think having WVU play in the NC game could have really helped to get better bowl tie-ins...
December 2, 200718 yr It certainly doesn't make it any easier. The people I know close to Tranghese feel that showing the Big East can now be 5 deep is helping, but a title game after almost being run last time would have been a huge help... I agree it's a double edged sword if you will...

December 2, 200718 yr How does WVU go so limp offensively simply because their qb is out? Injuries to White in the USF and Pitt game and they absolutely stink. It doesn't make sense. Too many other weapons for that to happen. IMO it's eerily similar to how Oregon absolutely fell apart without Dixon. Sometimes a single guy, especially the QB, just means that much.
December 2, 200718 yr I love the new Big East. Last season, Rutgers ruined Louisville's possible national championship party and this year Pitt snatches the ticket out of Rodriguez' hand. Good luck to the Mountaineers in their BCS game.

December 2, 200718 yr The NCAA needs to take a look at this game.... something was clearly going on. BEast officials are bad but not that bad. Oh yes they are. The officials in the Big East are an embarassment to the league.
