Miami played USC well on ESPN. I am not surprised this was close. But UL escaped, thats all that matters.

Based on their style, I'd say the vast majority of games Miami plays this year will be pretty close.

Odds say you won't beat a Charlie Coles team by a whole bunch. His teams are always sound and give maximum effort every game. I hope they once again have a fine season, they've played a very nice OOC schedule up to this point.

This was a gam of contrasting styles and in played in Miami's favor as they kept the game close throughout, just glad my Cards could pull it out!

Actually no. Tubby is still a very good basketball coach. Tubby however, got very lazy in recruiting and the fruits of his efforts have been showing the last few years, including this year.

Offensively they were horrific that last few years...couldnt tell what they were running. Miami...just runs there stuff and runs it more til they get a shot.

UL did what they had to in order to win at the end. Good teams have that ability.

Miami OH hasn't had an opponent go into the 70's since February 2005. Their highest scoring game last season was 74, which they only hit once.

Miami's style keeps them in games with the majors but also allows Podunk U to hang around as well.
