Frankfort got a taste of old fashion Beechwood smash mouth football mixed in w/a little aerial attack.

 

Not exact numbers but Teipel rushed for 196 yds, Bankemper 145 yds and Elliott for about 115 and alsoe threw for over 100 yds. Great effort by the whole team, the O line dominated the game. Bankemper and Teipel ran w/authority all night.

 

I will say this, Fields is the only kid I have seen run down Elliott, although he had the angle twice he still showed his speed. He will be an asset to the WR at UK next yr and will be an impact as a Freshman.

Best of luck to all the Frankfort Senior players in their future endeavors. Cherish your memories. Good luck next season to all the Frankfort underclassmen. Thanks to the fine folks in Frankfort. Everyone we encountered were gracious and kind.

Nice win Beechwood, I expected to see Beechwoods line take the game over in the second half and they did just that according to the numbers above. Also would like to say good season Frankfort, might get another shot at Beechwood next year.

Congrats to the Becchwood Program. The better team won last night. Your guys played hard nosed aggressive football. You did the one thing I thougt would be hard to stop. WISHBONE double tight and run right at us.

 

IMO I think this Beechwood team is by far a step above of the rest of the class A programs I have seen. They are loaded. With 21 juniors coming back I can't believe they won't be there next year as well.

 

 

Frankfort- You guys have nothing to be ashamed of. You faught hard all night and never quit. You had a great career at Frankfort. You re-built this program. There will always be a special place in my heart anf the community for you 13 seniors. Always remember We LOVE you.

I would like to know Amelung's numbers from last night, I thought he had an outstanding game~always plays in overdrive. Congratulations on a great season Frankfort-you are a well coached team with amazing speed, good luck to your seniors.

Those who said that "nobody in Class A can play with Beechwood" were right. Frankfort jumped out to a 10 - 0 lead and then the Mack truck started to get rolling.

 

Frankfort played hard, but just couldn't stop the Beechwood offense from running over them. Congrats to the Frankfort players - you had a great season and should be very proud of what you've accomplished. :ylsuper: Congrats to Beechwood, and good luck in the Championship!

First let me say, thanks to the Frankfort folks for hosting a great game. It was a warm and friendly atmosphere,with the exception of the front row of the parking lot and some uncalled for comments, but we were warned about that area! Met some very dedicated teachers that gave us a history lesson on the proud Frankfort heritage, thanks to her! Congrats to the Panther players, be proud, you had a great season. Hope to see you down the road. Oh,and compliments to the chef, best burgers of the year!

I did not see that, saw some angles but no rundowns. I though Fields was very unimpressive last evening on both sides of the ball. I dont know if he has been challenged all year, looking at his stats maybe not. I dont think he liked being hit at all. Tom Bankemper showed him no respect at all when he was on defense and that carried over to offense as well. Young man needs to get over that, hell just be a number as a freshman at UK and he will find bigger challenges.
