If you thought it was bad when the asphalt track was part of the field, can you imagine what it was like when part of the endzone was the cinder track? That was before my playing days but I remember it being there. Nothing like an arm or leg ful of cinders in the skin as a reward for getting a touchdown! 72 has to remember that. I don't remember when they took out the cinders and put the asphalt down. 72, do you remember?

I just want to confirm the number of deer in Fort Thomas. One of my fraternity brothers was a Highlands alum and we affectionately referred to his car as "The Deer Destroyer" because he single handidly wiped out four deer in the span of three years on the hood of his Honda Civic. All deer hits occured in about a mile stretch from his house in Fort Thomas.
