November 24, 200718 yr BYU looked very crisp in long stretches of this one. Similar recipe to most of the mid major upsets...
November 24, 200718 yr Just like all Ricky teams they live and die by the 3 sometimes and tonight they weren't hitting. BYU is pretty tough.
November 24, 200718 yr Author Just like all Ricky teams they live and die by the 3 sometimes and tonight they weren't hitting. BYU is pretty tough. They weren't getting the looks they normally get from working inside out...Caracter sat most of the 1st, and playing Earl Clark in the post takes away from his versatility on the perimeter. Caracter stays out of foul trouble, or Farley becomes more of a passing threat, and UL knocks down just as many jumpers as usual.

I don't have the number on minutes but just from looking at the boc score it looks like Caracter had a pretty strong game.

He did, but could have had a better game had he not had 2 fouls in the first half...Pitino sat him, I suppose because he knew he needed him down the stretch.
November 24, 200718 yr Author WOW this is a big surprise. UL was playing so well. Young players, playing lots of minutes....It happens.
