Tough Loss for Russell, congrats on another very good season.

Congrats to the Breathitt County Bobcats on the "W" at the hank and a Regional Championship. :thumb:

Who won the Belfry game?

Why no love for the local school? You won't find a classier guy than Coach Ivan McGlone. I never have understood local fans rooting against the local boys.

I totally agree. Coach McGlone is an excellent football coach as well. I was one of the few people who picked Russell to pull this one out. Sounds like it was a great football game!

Congrats to the Bobcats. It was a fun game to watch. Russell played tough and had a chance to close them out and the Bobcats refused to give up. It seems as though Russell just couldn't make a big defensive play on the pass when they needed one. You have to take your hats off to Coach McGlone and staff they have lost some terrific players the past 4 years and the still keep winning and competing with anyone in the state. Congratulations Devils on a super year!

Congratulations to both teams. Russell played their hearts out. This game could have gone either way and Breathitt won a tough one. We had one last chance in the last series. Jones threw the ball down the field to Bailey and the defender just tipped it. Great defensive play on his part. No tip Russell wins.

Congratulations Bobcats.

Why didn't we kick the field goal?

Why didn't we kick the field goal?

I don't think they were anywhere near field goal range at the end. If I am not mistaken they were around midfield or so.

Yes we were. That was in Dolly's range.

Why didn't we kick the field goal?

It was to far out Jones got sacked around the 50yd line made it 4th and about 20 so they had to go for it.

If we kick the field goal you have to go for two to win.

Yes we were. That was in Dolly's range.

Then what divison 1 school is he kicking for next year. Russell only reached Breathitt County's 45 on the last drive.

37 yard in the cold, and the grass was frosty, it would have been a long shot. IMO I thought it was the right call given the situation. I wonder why the DB's gave so much of a cushion all night to the Bobcats recievers!

It was n't that far out.

Who won the Belfry game?

Who do you think. Belfry big time.
