Does anyone know where the officiating crew was from. I thought they did a good job.

Wouldn't you have too say Breathitt Co. has a some what good ground game ,and not just a passing team,Channing Fugate is just a 10th grader and has to be a threat ever tme he touches the ball,Now we do pass the ball to many recievers and i do believe you might say we are a much better passing team ,but in no way could you say we are that only.

Fugate is a good player. Breathitt does have a running game. But most of that Running game depends on spreading the defense out. They do not have the kind of team that is just going to line up and run it at you.

Breathitt has a good spread offense, Which gave Russell allot of trouble, and the better line play. Belfry on the other hand is just to power-full for Breathitt. I look for them to win by 3TDS.

HUH???

I meant the pass, I guess the cold hadnt worn off yet.

The line play clearly was in Russell's favor. Yards were almost even and neither team came close to their offensive averages. I think the defense gave the offense more trouble for both teams.

Hey folks, I was at the game taking some shots and just wanted to congratulate both teams on a great effort and great ballgame. One of the best matchups I've seen all year. One of things I liked best was the player and fan behavior during and after the game. Great sportsmanship was shown by both sides and I haven't seen that at all of the games I've been to this year. Good job parents and fans of both schools!

One question if I may; Who plays receiver for Breathit that wears No.3? While looking through my shots I noticed that he made several leaping catches during the game for long gains. One was an amazing catch where it looked like the ball was already passed him when he caught it.

Again, congrats to both teams for great seasons and a great game.

# 3 is Ryan Allen he is a Jr. and will be back next year. # 81 Wess Epperson Sr. caught one of the best passes i have seen this year , they were wanting to win this game ,and yes you are so right sportsmanship by both schools and players, coaches and fans was best i have seen,Congrats to both schools way the game is suppose to be played , leave it on the field and thats all anyone can do

Thanks for the reply TopperDad. Mr. Allen was sensational and that's bad news for openents that he'll be back next year. I do recall #81 making a fingertip catch of a ball that fell just beyond the Russell defensive back. I may have a picture of that but I can't tell if it's #81 or not. I'll attach it and maybe you can tell me.

That is # 81 Wes Epperson. That is a great picture, you was definatley in good position for that picture.

Ryan Allen was the player of the game IMO. He made some amazing catches to keep drives going and had maybe the defensive play of the game tipping away what would have been a TD from Jones to Bailey in the fourth quarter.
