Kentucky Bowl Game???

Featured Replies

Where do you think Kentucky will land if they beat UT? Where will they land if they don't?

*Win and I think they will be going to Atlanta for the Peach Bowl. (2.825 million payout)

*Lose and they could be heading to Memphis for the Liberty Bowl. (1.7 million payout)

I would LOVE to see them ending up in Orlando (4.25 million), Tampa Bay (3 million), or Dallas (3 million); but I just think they may have dug themselves to deep a hole to climb out of.

Win, which they will, Peach.

Lose, which they won't, Liberty or Music City.

No way they go to the Peach Bowl.

It's the Chik-Fil-A Bowl now......:D

I think they end up in Atlanta with a win and Nashville again with a loss.

With a win, I think they go to the Outback Bowl (assuming that Georgia gets taken by the BCS).

Spoke to two Outback Reps in Athens. They happened to be in the same restaurant I was. They basically said we have to win this week. If we win we have a real good shot at the Outback Bowl. They will be here for the TN game.

So IMO, if we win it's Outback. If we lose it's Chic-Fil-A.

Get out your Weedeaters.

What for?

That's my thoughts. There is a crazy scenario that could get us in the Cotton Bowl as well, but it would require a lot of crazy help.

UK has a big advantage over all schools when it comes to the Outback Bowl. The CEO/Founder of Outback Steakhouse is a UK graduate.

The really big advantage is that they will feel the stadium up and make a lot of money for the Outback people. I don't know about you guys, but I would much rather see UK vs. Wisconsin in the Outback Bowl as to see UK vs. Clemson in any other bowl.

What for?

Pulon Weedeater (SP?) used to sponsor the Independence Bowl in Shrieveport, Louisiana.

The fact that UK took 50,000+ fans to the Outback bowl last time they played in it does not hurt their chances either!

Yeah, I know - but that has nothing to do with Kentucky this season.

Get out your Weedeaters.

Which bowl do you anticipate Bama playing in this year?

No way they go to the Peach Bowl.

I know what it is. I am old school. You know that Mr. Average. :jump: :p
