While I agree, he clearly needs some more experience in the big time before he lives up to the hype. Some of the stuff he called at D2 and in the MAC isn't working and it's hurt them in all three loses...

I always enjoyed watching Grand Valley State while he was there.
November 18, 200718 yr UC had no running game tonight, just look at the TOP statistic. I know at one point it was 31-15 early in the 4th, if you are going to beat WVU you must keep that offense off the field. Some phenomenal plays tonight by the QB's, both are very good, and Barnett is a star in the making, should bode well for UC in '08 with Goodman and Mauk returning. What's the word on Mister Simpson, will he ever play in Clifton?

November 18, 200718 yr UC played a good game. Whick Mauk fumble killed them most? WVU's 5 plays then the QB was draw enough to get by tonight but I dont know if it will be a month. I am not sold on their pass defense.

November 18, 200718 yr Mauk's fumble was huge but he is a gamer. I would take him on my team any day. He reminds me of a miniature Lorenzen. Stocky kid, is deceptively quick with a pretty darn good arm. WV 's speed was just sick. I have never seen wheels like those.
