I have dis-liked OSU since I cut teeth for cripe's sake...I am a recent U of L fan, and I do believe that they still have a bright future. If anyone wants to know my alliance's they are well documented. I call a spade a spade. There is zero jealousy in my body, especially when it comes to college football...there are not many of us that have played college football...I am one of them, and I am fortunate to have played for the #1 prep program in KY....jealousy is not a trait I carry.

Plus, for someone as you have said that has actually played college football (and I have not) then to me that makes those statements even more out of jealousy AND hatred, is obvious that you hate the Buckeyes but I have to believe that some of it is due to some jealousy anyway.

I agree, Tressel could have scored again and then went for 2 bc he couldn't go for 3 :sssh:on them but he didn't and that still wouldn't have told the story on how much better the Ohio State was.

 

Tressel does not run athe acore up on anyone and another thing is that I honestly believe that another reason why they "took a knee" on the last set was that Tressel out of respect for Lloyd Carr, Tressel is a coach himself and knows what it is.

No Problem here. I know many a Buckeye fans that are very intolerable. It's one of the reasons I very rarely get together for a "Buckeye Football Party."

 

Nothing worse than trying to get into a game with a "fan" who knows not what he/she is watching.

 

I usually want to watch the game with my wife and daughter.(Both of whom are very much devoted to the cause). My son is only allowed to be in the room if he keeps quiet. He is a fellow tOSU hater. He wasn't always that way, but somewhere along the line he got off the beaten path. I do have pics to prove that he was once on the straight and narrow path.

Wow I love the OSU fans saying other people are just jealous. I mean that is just priceless hearing these fans say that. I know I hate OSU more than any other team in football, I have hated them since I was a little kid. There has just been nothing that I have ever liked about them. And I guarntee you that it has NOTHING to do with being jealous of OSU. I have never been jealous of any sports team in my life. Honestly I have not seen many sports fans ever just hate a team because they are just jealous of them...I will say this the only thing I am jealous of OSU is how they get to play in the weak Big 10 conference. For 2 years now, we all have had to watch them just go right through this weak conference, and make them look better than they really are, and have to listen to the very arrogant fan base of OSU (which is a lot like my fellow UK basketball). I get tired of listening on how OSU supposively has a "GREAT" defense, when what have they really proven? When they play any teams with any kind of speed on offense they just get exposed as just a good defense, and nowhere near the "GREAT" best defense in college football as some people try to say. Back when OSU had AJ Hawk and company I definitely was able to understand when OSU fans said they have a GREAT defense because they actually had a great defense then...So yeah I guess I was wrong when I said I was not jealous of OSU, because I am very jealous of them on how they play in that weak conference, and get to look better than they really are, and get to coast right into a BCS game the last few years, with a chance at a National Title. I mean yeah I am jealous that my teams can't get that lucky..But in no way am I jealous of OSU history, and in no way will I ever be jealous of any teams past. I have never liked OSU, and I never will. But I will give them respect when I see they deserve it, and I will call them out on something when I think they need to be as well..

I picked Michigan to win. Obviously, that didn't work out too well. Ohio St. dominated the Wolverines on defense. They are off to Pasadena. I hope my Trojans are there playing them.

I know that my dislike for OSU doesn't come from jealousy. I also don't like: The New York Yankees, The Dallas Cowboys, Duke Basketball, North Carolina Basketball, as well as several other teams. I've never once wanted any of my favorite teams to be more like the ones I've listed below. Lately, my dislike for the Buckeyes comes from the fact that I think they've been over-hyped. They are a good football team but not a great one as most OSU fans would have you believe. The difference in the Buckeyes having 2 losses the last 2 seasons instead of 2-3 each season has been their schedule and conference that they play in.
