November 18, 200718 yr O.K. We can go ahead a drop the name-calling back and forth, or I will be making both you guys watch the tape of Notre Dame and Duke over and over and over again.
November 18, 200718 yr OSU was by far the superior team. The score does not show how one-sided this game was.
November 18, 200718 yr I think it is safe to say Mr. Wells will be in a lot of Heisman talk next year.
November 18, 200718 yr The Team Up North is all in good fun and was what Woody Hayes referred to when talking about Michigan. That is where that one came from and has been used on here since I have been on anyway. Meatchicken I don't know for sure but would think is a play of the way some ESPN and other sports news personalities shows say Michigan.....Meeeeeeeeeeeeechigan. I have heard them use that for years and just guessing that is where meatchicken came from, I don't know - sounds similar. I do not think that any of it is "juvinile", imo it is all in a rivalry, I expect the return shots and just try to have fun with it. There have been a very. very few that I have actually gotten upset over. To sum it all up......"people have more fun than anybody":thumb: and I am VERY glad to say that Ohio State has beaten Michigan....:thumb: You are correct about "That school up North" Coach Hayes refused to say the word Michigan, thus he always called it "That School up North" The late great Bob Ufer, used the term Meeeeeeeeeeechigan when calling Wolverine games. Ohio State fans just tweeked it a bit to Meat-Chicken. Bob Ufer was won of the greatest announcers of all time. "Homer" is an understatement when talking about Ufer. I used to listen to him as a young kid growing up in northwest Ohio. Of course that was only when the Bucks were not on. It's not childish. It's all in good fun. My father's very best friend and one of the people I admire most is a Michigan fan and we have had fun for years. As a matter of fact he took me to see my first ever big time football game at "The Big House" 1977 Iowa vs. Michigan. If you really want to see something funny, you should see the two of them walking down the street together, each sporting their own colors. So step back, relax and enjoy the greatest sport on earth. Nothing is more grand than college football. Oh yeah, WE BEAT MEAT-CHICKEN...............AGAIN! Go Bucks!
November 18, 200718 yr Author OSU was by far the superior team. The score does not show how one-sided this game was. I agree, Tressel could have scored again and then went for 2 bc he couldn't go for 3 :sssh:on them but he didn't and that still wouldn't have told the story on how much better the Ohio State was. Tressel does not run athe acore up on anyone and another thing is that I honestly believe that another reason why they "took a knee" on the last set was that Tressel out of respect for Lloyd Carr, Tressel is a coach himself and knows what it is.
November 18, 200718 yr Ohio State may not be the #1 team in the nation, but they took care of business this year. 1 loss to a good Illini club isn't too bad when this wasn't suppose to be their year. It's very hard to win in the big house especially with a cold drizzle all day. Go BUCKS!
November 18, 200718 yr WOLVERINE................................ It Is Whats For Dinner!!!  :thumb:

November 18, 200718 yr 3 straight BCS games and the talent coming in and coming back for a 4th.... Bucks have a lot to cheer about.
November 18, 200718 yr Great game by the Buckeyes by going to Ann Arbor and beating Michigan AGAIN. I LOVE IT. Tressel shuts Carr down yet again. This defense is overrated??? are you kidding me. They hold Michigan to 91 total yards of offense. Michigan has only 8 first downs while Ohio State has 16. Michigan was 3-18 on 3rd down, Ohio State was 7-18. 229 rushing yards by the Buck's while UM gets only 15!. The Buck's D also gets 4 sacks. Boeckman didn't play great at all but Wells picked us up by having a HUGE game. Another 200 plus yard game from Mr. Wells. The D played great and the rushing game was big. Great win for the Buckeyes to bounce back from a big loss. Another BCS game for coach Tressel. Another year, another win against Michigan. Maybe Carr can learn a thing or two from the "Vest" :dancingpa
November 18, 200718 yr This defense is overrated??? The defense got clearly exploited by a baby SEC team last week....an injured Hart and Henne....I was not impressed watching that game yesterday.
