Good experience for the LCC group to head to the North and take on the Bluebirds. Why not get that experience if that is where you want to get your program to?

Looking back through the thread, I don't see a single Highlands poster making outrageous predictions or being disrespectful in any way. Every team has a fan or two that gets carried away; but I think you'll find that we don't operate that way.

It is not the Highlands fans making the "how bad you are gonna beat them" comments. The Birds fans will, for the most part, be very respectful of LCC and their fans. If you make the trip, you will find that most of us (with the possible exception of Henry:scared:) are pretty good folk!

Obviously, HHS will be favored pretty big in this game. However, if ever the 'Birds were going to have a "trap" game in the playoffs, this would be it, given all the preparation they did to play the defending state champion CCH, and how happy the players/coaches must be defeating the Colonels huge. LCC didn't make it all the way to the Class 5A regional finals by being a cupcake squad... they will surely come into Caketown fired up and ready to play on Friday night! The 'Birds must stay focused on the ultimate goal: finishing 15-0 and state champions... in order to do that, the 'Birds will need to be at their best against LCC!!!!

they look to me like a team. Their only loss was in the first game of the year, and they have scored nearly as many points as the Birds.

 

For only having played football 3 seasons, I'm impressed with 11-1. Props to them. But I think the Birds roll in this one. The LCC defense has given up a bunch of points to some very average teams.
