Thanks everyone for all of your comments, at this point I think I'll be asking for a PS3. It just seems like a better option for my situation at this point. But I'll continue to listen to all your comments and maybe you can change my mind.

You must not have heard me when I said "Wii".

PS3 has a lot of games out now.... COD 4 on PS3 is the game of the year..... Assasians Creed will be on PS3 also.

I have heard a lot of UNconfirmed units that XBOX may go software like Sega did.

For the record when the Wii goes to $199 I will get one... it is great to have for hosting parties!

Well I have all 3 systems(360,PS3,Wii) And my favorite is the 360. The online network is alot deeper but it does cost somewhere around $6 a month while the PS3 is free. I rarely play the PS3 because I mostly play Halo and Sports game like Madden 08,NCAA Football 08, NBA 2K8. Im sure these games are fine on PS3 but I just feel alot more comfortable with the controllers playing them on the 360. Also noone really cares about Blu Ray disc. I dont, I dont even own a blueray disc and ive had my PS3 for around 6 months. The only bad thing about the Xbox is that they do mess up around every 6 months or so. Im on my 6th one right now. It doesnt cost me any extra money or anything because I bought it from Walmart and I just take it back everytime the red rings pop up and they give me a new one.

And I'll give my usual answer - Get a Wii.

In the next year or so, I think PS3 will gain a lot of ground on XBOX in terms of game selection. If you aren't a fan of Halo then I'd go with PS3, especially based on the fact that you have games that you would like to play.

I was going to say the same thing. Also a lot of people I know have had to send in their 360's several times. PS3 would be my choice, 2nd to the wii of course.

I love my 3 and it's getting better everyday. I just updated it online and it's alot smoother now. I also have the Wii and it's more of a party game for a lot of people. I don't think I've ever played it alone.

I've heard that there were problems but wow.:scared: I wonder if the life on one is dependent on how much use it gets? Do you use yours a lot?

I play mine a pretty good amount and have had it for 6 months and never had a problem with it.

 I dont play video games much but I wouldnt mind having a Wii. I'd love to get that and Tiger Woods for it and I'd be set.

Gotta love the Wii. It really is a blast that everyone enjoys.
