No hard feelings though, because I am looking forward to coming to Williamsburg. Which means the Eagles did respond last week. How about some places to dine on local food? Better stop for food in London or Corbin. Not much in Williamsburg except fast food, unless you want Mexican .

The Cumberland Inn has excellent dining facilities and wonderful food. It would be a 4 star resturaunt in most towns. Unfortunately I wish I could agree that the Eagles have no chance to win...lol. I do think it will be a dog fight this time, at least I hope so. Hope our fans and our town are hospitable to you all in your visit!

Williamsburg's Regional title came in '64 when you had to win one game to be region champ. The information I got was that they plaed Lynch Main, tied and Lynch Main won on penetrations, thus giving them a co-championship. Anyone know more about this???

Accually they won because they had 7 first downs to 6 for Williamsburg. So you have 1 regional title, Wburg 0. I really thought this would be the year Coach Mitchell and LC would win their 1st district title but the injury to Roskoph cost them that.

IF wburg can keep Campbellsville in or below 40 thye will have a chance to win.

Williamsburg is going to have to be perfect on offense to have a chance to win, they can do it but they can't commit turnovers and they will have to get the ball to the 50 every time they touch it. They can't afford to give Campbellsville a short field. If Williamsburg can win at least break even in the turnover battle, and win the field position they have a good shot to win. Campbellsville is going to score on Williamsburg, but if Williamsburg can make Campbellsville go 60 to 70 yards a drive they can give their defense a chance to get a few stops. But even if they do this there is no guarantee, I just can't see them winning if they don't do this.

The trip will hurt Campbellsville--not nearly enough for a Jacket victory however. Eagles 56-Jackets 28.

I think that the subdistrict was done away with in 87 or so when both the winner and runner-up from each district made it, could have been 86.

We were told we lost because they had more 1st downs. There was 1 year LC tie with 2 others for 1st but didnt win the tie breaker. When you get to be 107 all those years run together.

The only Williamsburg wins this game is for C-ville to turn it over 8 times like LC did.....Other than that they have not a chance......
