No guesses as to who wins this one. I just have to say im happy this series is back after a few years hiatus. As for the game this week, it'll be a battle to see whether last game was a poor performance by Lex Cath who early this year seemed to struggle to get their offense on track or whether Boyle is for real as advertised and will give Lex Cath a battle again. Should be a good one. Go Knights.

Boyle had their chance the first time. Lex Cath rolls on to Louisville after getting over their biggest hurdle this Friday.

Bell County is the best in 4A...I think Catholic wins this game but loses to Bell County. Bell County will be crowned State Champions at the end of the year!

I agree with you about this game, but I think you better take it one week at a time with your Bell Co. team!Have you actually seen any of the other 4A teams play?

Stats about anything mean really nothing in highschool football. Back in 05' Bowling Green had the best defense and the 2nd best offense, and look what Catholic did. That was back in 05' though. About Lincoln making noise in the playoffs. It is the first round playoff games. Almost every decent team made it to the second round. The first round means nothing!

Have you seen Bell County? They dismantled a really good Lincoln County team in week one. Lincoln is making noise in the playoffs. They have by record the best defense with the least amount of points scored against them by any team in any class. Defense is tough this time of year. They defend the run and pass both equally well. Everyone wants to criticize Bell's schedule, but they only played three home games! They have had to play good teams on the road for most of the season. This will help them if they have to go on the road north.

Please tell that to the KHSAA! LOL!

Take it easy there TomLandry! I thought this was a thread about the Boyle County / Lexington Catholic game. Yes, Bell has had a great season, but let's keep it to the topic of the thread.... and good luck against Rockcastle this week.

I am suprise that right now 1/3 of the people have picked Boyle to win (33.33%). It's a little higher than I thought it would be.

No, but I am not predicting my Favorite team to be state champs!I prefer the one game at a time philosophy. If you look too far ahead, you might miss what's in front of you!

Boyle handed Lex Cath a game first time around. Whether the Knights were in a funk or not that night, that is what sticks out in people's minds. And im not suggesting that the only reason the game was so close was because Lex Cath played bad. The Knights are good but beatable. The offense has to deliver and the defense has to put up enough stops to slow the other team down.

That being said, this game is at Lex Cath and the Knights do have a heck of a running back and some good wide reciever speed. If Israel and the other RBs produce and the pass game is even slightly effective then Boyle will struggle with Lex Cath.

From what I've heard of other people the Knights have improved offensively since the beginning of the season and are beginning to click a little better especially in the pass game.

Should be an awesome game, good luck to both teams!

I like Boyle Co. in the upset of the week 20-12.

I can only hope that Boyle Co. pulls a upset here, but in reality Lexington Cath. is the better team and playing at home will be tough for Boyle. I'm picking Lexington Cath. to win in the pick 10 contest as a one pointer, but if Boyle does pull it off, I lose only one point and I'll be happy with the outcome. Go Rebels!!!!!!!!!!!!:D
