Yes, he does look to the sideline often for signals. However, far less often than last year. He calls quite a few of UK's plays from the line.

I think they're very close...Woodson is more of a prototype QB for certain, but Dixon may have more potential. Looking ahead to the next level, I think Woodson may be a safer pick, but I don't think it's a foregone conclusion that he will be better. I think Dixon has the potential to be a great QB in the NFL...

I've watched him a few times and I simply do not see him having the ability to make the throws that are required in the NFL. I guess we'll just have to see but I'm on record as saying that VY will not be a great NFL qb and I don't think Dixon is as good as VY.

I've watched him a few times, though not a lot, and from what I saw he is certainly a talented passer. I may be wrong, like I said I've only watched him a couple of times, but when I did he threw the ball just as well as anyone else I've seen.

November 7, 200718 yr Dixon throws a pretty ball, but he has an odd delivery (not quite sidearmed, but close) and I am not sure about his deep ball. He is one heck of an athlete and in college a GREAT QB. I have no idea what kind of NFL QB he would be with his delivery, but he seems to have everything else (intelligence, understanding of the game, great feet, leadership, etc).

My point here is that someone will give him a chance to play IMO. He will be doing more than just holding a clip board.

Sometimes it works out and dual threat guys develop into good QB's (see Donovan McNabb), and sometimes it doesn't. Hence my point that Woodson is a safer pick, but it's not a foregone conclusion that he'll be better. I suspect Tim Couch may have been viewed as a safer pick than McNabb and Culpepper, but it didn't turn out that way.

They're simply not hurting it enough to lose. Hardly a ringing endorsement.
