November 4, 200718 yr Prognosticators are squirming. The "so called" experts are squirming. Some overly self important sports writers, and columnists, and broadcasters are squirming. Many fans are squirming. However, the BCS is not.
November 4, 200718 yr If Kansas wins out all the way...they do belong in...they'll have a more impressive resume than OSU.... One top 25 team beaten by 6 points.. thus far, doesn't take much to impress you eh?
November 4, 200718 yr One top 25 team beaten by 6 points.. thus far, doesn't take much to impress you eh? I think you missed the part where Deuce said "if they win out" not what they have done so far.
November 4, 200718 yr One top 25 team beaten by 6 points.. thus far, doesn't take much to impress you eh? It's about winning out brother....if they do that, they'll have beaten more impressive teams than your beloved, IMO.
November 4, 200718 yr It's about winning out brother....if they do that, they'll have beaten more impressive teams than your beloved, IMO. If they win out they will have beaten 3 top 25 teams... if TOSU wins out we will have beaten 4... I don't think Kansas wins out. But I totally agree its all about winning.... thats all the kids can do is go out and win. To me each week its about surviving and getting to the ship. Once your there anything can happen.
November 4, 200718 yr KU can beat the luckiest team I have ever seen...LSU...and beat them by at least 2 TD's LSU by 3 TD's IMO
November 5, 200718 yr Ohio State is fortunate they don't have to play a conference championship like most conferences do. If LSU wins the SEC West, they still will have to knock it out with the winner of the East, no easy chore by any means.
November 5, 200718 yr All I know is I can't ever recall a year when there were literally no impressive teams. None that make you say, "Yep, that's the best team in the country," because it seems that any of the top 30 teams can beat the others on any given night. Usually the teams are pretty much tiered in that you can spot 2-3 teams that are better than the rest, then a group of 5 or so in the next tier that are a step ahead of the rest of the ranked teams. IMO you are absolutely correct.
