I dont know where u get your information from but in several games this year against some of Lexington better record teams. Tates lead several of those games at halftime. Now they are clearly down this year, but to say they are one of Lexington's worst teams is highly questionable.

Nobody has mentioned that Bell County routed Lincoln County 31-7 on opening night. Those same Patriots are 8-2 and ranked #4 in BGPs Class 5A rankings. Bell County is for real. They might not beat Catholic, but they are for real.

By the way, Dudley Hilton said after the game that Bell might be making the trip back to Lexington in a couple weeks, implying they would play Catholic. They might very well play Lexington Catholic, but if they do the game would be played on Log Mountain.

Tates Creek trailed Lafayette at the half (17-0) before losing 24-7.

 

Tates Creek trailed Dunbar at the half (17-7) before losing 34-14.

 

Tates Creek trailed Henry Clay at the half (31-0) before losing 45-0.

 

Tates Creek led Bryan Station at the half (28-21) and won 38-35.

 

They lead one Lexington city team (Bryan Station) at the half and that was their second victory of the season. These are the facts. Sorry to discount Bell County's win at Tates Creek, but the Creekers are probably Lexington's worst team right now and that includes Bryan Station.

They beat Bryan Station so they are better than them, it is always settled on the field. Plus both BS and TC are better than LCA.

 

 

If both teams make it the third round would be at Lex Cath b/c they are the lower number district.

The 3rd game would be in Lexington if they beat Boyle. The last time they played lex. cath just won 18-14.

I believe that teams in the odd numbered districts get to play at home on Odd numbered years. If so, then the game is at Bell. (Which, I'm hoping it is).

This is correct. Lexington Catholic should travel to Log Mountain. I like the Bobcats if this game comes to be.
