He said he came to Hopkinsville one year and watched Hopkinsville's big back break off a long run down the sideline. He said the ball boy was running in step with the player yelling "Way to go dad". Not sure if it was a true story but it did elicit some laughs from the Hopkinsville audience.

November 2, 200718 yr As far as sniping, ... there is plenty to go round here on BGP. UL fans snipe at UK fans, ... UK fans snipe at UL fans, .... other teams fans snipe at UK fans, .... UK fans snipe at the other team's fans, ...etc. I used to get mad about it and think how childish it was/is. I guess now I don't care as much if someone on either side of the fence feels they must 'get their kicks' by taking shots at the others. I also find it humorous how some will talk trash and when their team falls short of what they talked, they will disappear from any threads regarding that particular game. Now, it all still seems childish, but is often mildly amusing. As far as Curtis is concerned, ... LOADS of upside and I am convinced that Sanders and Joker can get him up to his potential which could be HUGE for UK next season. With the O line that is coming back and the experience on defense, they may be better than many of us think, with a slightly different look.

November 2, 200718 yr Keep in mind that Joker made the comments at a UK Alumni dinner in Hopkinsville Tuesday, but from the sound of it, if Pulley can go to class and pass, he will be the starting quarterback next year. LINK I have been trying to tell everyone this. I saw him beat Woodson out of the starting job. UK will be very hard to defend next year!

November 3, 200718 yr I think Curtis Pulley will keep UK at a high level like they are this year, or at least I hope so.
