The folks at Ch. 12 must be BGP fans. They just said that a report on the internet has Torre to L.A.

;)

It was just reported on ESPN that Grady Little just resigned as the Dodgers manager.

What have the Ol Duckster's kids got to do with this story?;)

Here's the link to the story.

Torre

It was just reported on ESPNews that Joe Torre was just hired as the manager of L.A. Dodgers. It is a 3 year deal.

Wonder if A Rod will follow.

If you had told me five years ago that Joe Torre would be managing Nomar Garciaparra in LA in 2008, I would have told you to check yourself into Eastern State Hospital.

:thumb: I here ya and I would have said the same thing only in some other (non bgp) terms.

I have never liked the Dodgers but with Torre now there I will probably keep up with them, not an all out big time fan but I will pull for them bc of Torre, Mattingly and Nomar (yes, Nomar was one of the Red Sox players that I liked :D:thumb:).

How ironic would it be for Torre to be managing a team that had Nomar Garciaparra playing for them in the WS vs. the Yankees!!
