But the officials will get assigned from out of town in the later rounds.

Once the playoffs start officials are assigned from outside the competing teams areas for every game.

 

I hope we get our dose of NKY officials in the first round.

Not sure about the 1st round games as far as Officials .....this year is a first remember. !st round Games some question as to whether the Local Crews will stay at home and work those games. After that .....all are sent out to other areas......is my understanding......

This is the second year that first and second round games have been district games and I'm 99% sure that officials from OOT were assigned to those games as well last year.

I believe that officiating crews are brought in from other parts of the state to ref. That was the gist of my point.

It's not a moot point. Out of county officials are assigned throughout the playoffs.
