October 29, 200718 yr He must have done something awful to you. :lol:Nah, I just can't stand his selfishness. Plus I think he's a classless jerk.
October 29, 200718 yr Nah, I just can't stand his selfishness. Plus I think he's a classless jerk. Sounds to me like your a Buckeye fan:p
October 29, 200718 yr In fact through all of this I am baffled by people an their vehement response to Bellicheck's actions. For crying out loud people it is a game, a sport and in the grand scheme of things in life a professional sport really isn't that important. Outside of the economic impact and that is safe and sound. As to this part of your comment, what's so baffling? People don't like cheaters. C'mon, with what they have, did he really need to?
October 29, 200718 yr Nah, I just can't stand his selfishness. Plus I think he's a classless jerk. You think he should share some of his wins with his opponents?
October 29, 200718 yr You know all SPORTS teams do that. You know all HS sports teams do that. His crime was not stealing the signals but simply videotaping it. Having a guy standing up there trying to figure out what they are doing, I believe, is pretty common practice. Videotaping it is not. As a basketball coach, I listen for what play the coach calls and diagram the play as they run it. WHen we prepare for that team, my players will know the play and what they are going to try and do. Would you call me a cheater? If your videotaping and catologing, then yes your a cheater.
October 29, 200718 yr You think he should share some of his wins with his opponents? Yeah, that's what I want. If you can't figure out what he's doing, there's no sense talking about it.
October 29, 200718 yr As to this part of your comment, what's so baffling? People don't like cheaters. C'mon, with what they have, did he really need to? . What baffles me is the borderline hatred I see dripping from just about every comment made about him. Where a sport is concerned, do you really think it is that necessary? He didn't have any need to cheat though. To be fair people do like cheaters, Bill Clinton cheated on his wife, still a very popular man. Which to be fair is a tad bit more important than someone cheating in this instance.
October 29, 200718 yr Yeah, that's what I want. If you can't figure out what he's doing, there's no sense talking about it. I was just wondering about the selfish part.

October 29, 200718 yr I said that. He videotaped it. That was what he had done wrong. The original poster said stealing signs was cheating. I said stealing signs was not and that is done at all levels. Videotaping it IS. The original poster did not make that distinction. I'm sorry about that. I thought this was a pro sports thread, and took for granted that everyone knew exactly what transpired with the signal/stealing/videotaping. I should have been more specific. That's all me right there.:thumb:
October 29, 200718 yr :thumb: Pretty simple concept really. I thought so too,, but aparrently we were wrong.
October 29, 200718 yr . It takes away from the integrity of the game. It they win the SB, it'll be a tainted win IMO. Why? Because they had to cheat and IMO should have been banned from post season play. I don't hate Bellicheck, I think he's a great coach, he sure didn't need to cheat. Now, I just don't respect him.
October 29, 200718 yr I was just wondering about the selfish part. It's all about the record for him. Nothing more. People loved slamming Manning last few years, but he always performed with class. You didn't see him doing what Brady is doing now.
October 29, 200718 yr Umm, where did I say I wanted him to get hurt. I said I wanted him to get nailed really good. No where did I say anything about injured. However, IF he was to get injured, I wouldn't feel all that sorry for him, he's bringing that on himself with his selfishness . But again, I didn't say I wanted him injured. If you played the game, you know the difference. If I misunderstood then please forgive me, I would certainly not want to make any accusations that could be misinterpreted. That said, your overall tone has been nothing but vehement where the Patriots are concerned and as such the implication of saying you want Tom Brady to "get nailed really good," would be that you want him to be hit hard enough (or in such a way) to cause an injury. Oh I appreciate the condescending tone by the way. Always useful in a discussion.
