FC will be focused from here on out.They had some distractions that had them less than focused and hopefully they will move foward and rally around each other.It is now a NEW SEASON FOR FC AND EVERYONE ELSE! The only thing better than high school football is high school football playoffs!!!!!

I think the front runners for the state championship would be these 5 teams Bell County, Franklin County, Lexington Catholic, Lone Oak and Warren East!

Wrong. Lex Cath District winner will play Bell's District winner in the Regional finals. Franklin's district winner will play Boyd's district winner in the Region. It is different this year with realignment.

 

Well, I hope that's how it is. If my Lions do win their district, I'd really rather they face Franklin County rather than Bell. We aren't really up to par with either of them this year,but not to step on toes, but Bell County just seems more dominate this year. But niether of them are sloutches, they both look to be ready for the post season and all the competition put before them.

I was watching a wild feed on my satellite some years back and picked up a Louisiana High School Football Special. It was a Selection show on the seeding for High School football in the playoffs. What they did was seed the top 16 teams and play out the brackets. What I do like about this.. is that if it all plays out the top 2 teams would meet in the finals and not in the region like what could happen this year with Lex Cath and Bell, but with Kentucky being a much wider state than Louisiana it would be more difficult to have that format here.

My pick besides my Alma Mater is Bell County. They have the Special teams to beat anyone. When a team can get stuck on the 40 yard line and get points out of it, they become hard to beat. Not to mention that they are the most "excited" and most "jittery" Bell county team I have seen in years.

 

Anytime you see a dedicated Bell county fan, they have a twinkle in their eye that I haven't seen since the peak year of Shawn Robbins. This team is special and everyone that has seen them can tell.

well what do you think their chances are if they do beat bell or catholic in the semi finals....would they be legit contenders in the final round??

I will say right now that the winner of district 4 (whether it be Bullitt East or North Bullitt) will make it to the championship game. Notice I don't think Marion comes out of the district.
