Brownfield has a ankle sprain not a high ankle sprain and Wynn went to the hospital where they popped his shoulder back. other than that the Devils are 100% and although those two will probably sit this up coming week out, "just to be safe" they will be back Bellevue game.

 

Excellent, we get the best possible news out of that situation both ways. Does anyone know much about Carroll? Meaning could Dayton still win the game sitting "hurt" starters? Just wondering.

Dayton will beat Carroll without Brownfield and Wynn. JMO though. Good luck to the devils leading into the playoffs.

Great news....I am sure that Wynn woke up the entire hospital during that painful ordeal. Showdown at Davis field in two weeks is looking better each day.

Well played game by Dayton, was my first time seeing them this year and came away impressed. Hope all your injured players get better in time for the big show and good luck in the playoffs.

As I have said before -- Dayton has a good team this year. But I'm not 100% they can beat Beechwood. Let's hope they don't take Bellevue lightly in the first round. Now I do have a complaint and I'm sure Coach Deaton if he is aware of the person will handle it appropriately. Enough said on that without getting into detail.

No real surprise here, I just thought Dayton would have beat the Wildcats by more than they did. Dayton will finish up with an easy win over Carroll and will be in another battle with the Tigers

Anyone know the deal with the kid from Newport being ejected with a police escort?

Dayton played a wonderful game. I was so proud of them, witnessing these young men growing up playing football and other sports. and actually coaching some of the coaches. They really have a well balance attack and they play physical defense, and lets not forget the great coaching!! Good Luck!! (1966 State Champs) Do it again!1
