October 26, 200718 yr Ryan played terrible until the last 4 minutes, then he took advantage of a VT team that played on their heels, nothing to write home about. He was luckier than he was good tonight and it showed. Remember that VT team allowed 48 from LSU. BC plays no one and their schedule allows for a senior QB to play for the Heisman. You would think that the announcers tonight were all related to Ryan by the way they sucked up to him in the end after a horrible game.
October 26, 200718 yr In your opinion? Mine too then. I think you'll find that Woodson has some following beyond the BIG BLUE NATION because of his past performances.
October 26, 200718 yr He shouldn't.......This is from a UK fan. Do I think Woodson is a better player, yeah I do. However, given the current voting patterns for Heisman winners then Ryan should be right up there if not the leader. My point exactly....If people discredit Brohm's OUTSTANDING numbers because his team is 4-4, then those same people should obviously use that same philosophy (among others) when comparing Ryan to Woodson.

October 26, 200718 yr He has a Heisman vote I believe... :jump: With 58,198 posts, you should have a Heisman vote.

Has there ever been a Heisman winner from a non-bowl eligible team? I guess Brohm could be the first.

I don't think you want to play that game. UofL plays in a stink conference and still can't win the games. BC schedule isn't exactly SEC claibur either. Woodson and company has been right there in the hunt in both of their losses against the Top 20 and the defending national champs. It isn't Woodson's fault the UK D' couldn't stop UF. Woodson played 110% or better to win that game vs. UF, his numbers and leadership showed it. Put BC and uofl in that conference, theres a laugh for you to choke on.
October 26, 200718 yr Author Just because people's opinion on here doesn't say so doesn't make it true. Um. A large chunk of Heisman voters are members of the media. This week they didn't say much about Woodson. The BGP Blue Bloods didn't take it well. Much of the same tonight...
