I look for the rams to do big things this year. Sadly I recently moved to Lexington, so I will have to follow them online.

Roger Zornes is at the top of the heap!

 

Mays and Baker are next and then all the rest...................

This is a no brainer. I think we have many great coaches in this region however Roger Zornes has multiple region titles. I am not sure how many but I know he won it in 90, 94,95,98,99,00. Not to mention a state runner-up in Ohio. Not even a Boyd Co. person but his resume speaks for itself.

The best coach in the region will undoubtedly be the one who has the most talent that performs to its capabilities. With very few exceptions, it is the successful performance of talented players that makes a coach look brilliant. If the talent and personal motivation of the players is sufficient, the coach can roll out a ball and retire to the teachers's lounge for a nice Diet Pepsi and a nap.

Not trying to start a fight but based on what? I think he is a good coach but what do you think makes him better than guys with much more accomplished resumes' like Zornes, Dodd, and Daniels.

 

I really like Baker at East.

For someone you says has an accomplished resume, you rate him pretty low. I'll say this... Steve Dodd knows basketball. As well as Jim Hicks. People may not like his personalities but he knows basketball.

Dodd has shown a real talent for "attracting" players at both the NAIA and High School level. He had a very talented team his 1st 2 years at Russell and they underachieved. Hicks really needs a district win before he moves up. I thought in his and Fraley's cases I was pretty generous.

Coaches coach and players play and the players need the coaches for direction and if a coach takes a group of talented boys and wins a district several times and wins the region and goes to the final in the region and goes to state and wins a game that is a coach. ! ! ! This is now not 10 years ago. ! ! :D:D

Hicks won the 63rd District at Greenup Co. in 2006. He beat Russell at Russell and lost to Elliott Co. in the 16th Region Semi's. Russell then beat Elliott Co. to advance to Rupp in 2006. Dodd took Russell to the sweet 16 for the first time in 33 years. IMO both coaches have had some nice accomplishments in their careers.

All the Ashland posters seem to be big on Biggs. Will they feel the same way in March?

Personally I can't wait to see how Coach Floyd does at Raceland!!

Wow!!! I've read this a dozen times and I'm not sure if it's me, perhaps I'm tired, or maybe it's so simply brilliant that it's over my head!:creepy::confused:
