I would love to agree, but what your saying is based on the assumption that we will be back to playing football like we did in weeks 1-6.....and right now I don't see that happening. Do I think Mayfield is a better football squad than Calloway and Fulton City, both of whom just spanked mayfield's bottom???? Absolutely, but we have to prove it on the field where it counts and we haven't been doing that. I will feel a lot better about things if we play these last two games with passion. If we finish the season 0-2......i don't know because that has never happened to Mayfield...but it wouldn't be good.

Why wouldn't you and I both think we will be back to playing like we did early? We were a different team without the players that are out and they should be back.

Fulton City by no means spanked Mayfield's bottom, they were extremely lucky to have won despite the Cardinal players that were out. They play again, which is likely, Mayfield is a heavy favorite and for good reason. I'm guessing you were not at this game or you would have known this.

Mayfield may very well get beat this week and next, they play 2 of the 3 teams (Lone Oak being the other) in the deep West that appear to be playing the best football in the area. I expect Mayfield to find a way to win atleast one of the two but even if they do not they will still be a favorite against Fulton City and should certainly make it atleast as far as Frankfort. From there it's unclear.

What imo it all comes down to in the East (an I would believe anywhere in any class) is that if a any one team takes any playoff opponet for granted they will lose.

I would say Hazard and LCA are the other semis match up. Although I wouldn't put Hazard in the semis in stone yet, I would say Lynn Camp, Williamsburg, or Campbellsville could upset Hazard in the region championship, although Hazard would be the favorite against any of those 3.

I don't know about that, LC beat Cumberland, granted that was with Roskoph but they are still a dangerous team. With the schedule Campbellsville as played they are as tested as anyone in class A, and Williamsburg's Offense will always give them the change to win when it is clicking.
