October 21, 200718 yr UK had 3 very good chances for points in the first half and came away empty. IMO that was where the game was lost. Woodson through too far to the sideline on Johnson's catch, misread Burton on one and missed Johnson on a slant...each of those were 6 points. Throw in the missed FG. Too many points left on field in first half. Special teams was a letdown...long return before half set up a TD for UF...instead of being down 4 or 7 they went in down 11. Botched punt by Mastay....poor kickoff by Mastay in last 3 minutes. Darn near pulled of onsides kick. Give UF credit...they schemed well with their 2 week preparation. Tim Tebow has a heart of a lion. Don't go blaming officials...sure there were some questionable calls but UK got some last week. Hopefully, their bodies heal for MSU...then they prepare for the homestretch.
October 21, 200718 yr There is not one team in the country that could beat LSU and Fla back to back. Not even Auburn. The schedule eventually caught up with tem. No reason they can't win out.
October 21, 200718 yr I just got home from a great day of football, tailgating and then some. Woodson played very well but the defense couldnt stop Florida. The special teams gave up to many yards.
October 21, 200718 yr It's not over... consider the facts: Beat a ranked (at the time) U of L team in the beginning of the year Beat #1 LSU last week ESPN Game Day on Campus (it was pretty cool to see) Baby steps here people... I think Coach Brooks in on the right step, and every once in a while they're going to fall on their butts. Can you imagine what these last two weeks have done for recruiting!!

October 21, 200718 yr While the refs made some bad calls, it didn't change the game. I don't think anyone should blame this loss on the refs. Tim Tebow and the Gators were just better today.

They'll get a good bowl game if they only have 3 losses. 2 losses and they get a "great" bowl game IMO.
