October 21, 200718 yr Tough loss for the Cats but they never quit and played until the final whistle. Tebow had the defense confused but the Cats D did play him very physical. He is a beast and the scary thing is he will only get better. Great game by Lyons, he's a Warrior.
October 21, 200718 yr It wasn't a full disappointment today, we lost but our offense looked tough still. The defense just seemed to do some things today that made me scratch my head. I know Tebow is a good QB w/ both great running and passing skills but I felt our pass rush was next to non existent and while perhaps we give up a few more yards to Tebow running but I feel giving him a few shots in the passing game and what not would have given him a harder time passing. Oh well, its in the past now and its on to the next games, come on Cats, lets rebound!!! Im just ready for Bowling time this year!!!

October 21, 200718 yr If that game was 5 more mins long, UK wins I think You think so? Our D just wasn't stopping them today at all. I know we gave them some pretty short field positions to work with but still, after that first drive of Florida's I don't think UK ever looked that great against UF's offense.

However, I think if UK continues this offensive surge and gets the D's confidence back against a few teams that don't have as great a QB and recievers and a RB to go with him, i.e. Miss St. and Vandy than we should right the ship and hopefully look good going into Georgia and Tennessee to end the year.

True. UGA won't be easy since it's on the road, and UT has looked realllly good at times, and then reallllly bad at times. If the real UT shows up to Commonwealth, then it's going to be a battle.

October 21, 200718 yr I just got home from the game. The largest crowd ever at Commonwealth Stadium watched a great effort by our Wildcats! UK battled until the final second. The best players Florida had didnt have numbers on their jerseys, they had a letter on their back's. Let's keep our heads up. And I still BELIEVE!!!
