Very disappointing effort from the outmanned Thorobreds. Good thing for Pendleton and Bourbon or they would be looking at a 1 and done again this year.

I may get bashed, but this is the best team HC has played this year (excluding Marion, because I didn't get to see them). Very frustrating game for the Breds.

I know Talbott for sure. Isaac just game back tonight after a month off and reaggravated it.

 

Newby was holding his shoulder funny, if it is not separated it is bruised. He was in street clothes after halftime.

Nobody is district champs yet. That will be determined after the 2nd round of the playoffs. Franklin must be for real, Looks like they have a easy road to the Semi's.

As I posted earlier in the week, Franklin County's line would win this game, hope to see you in 5 wks, Greenup County.

I tried telling y'all that Harrison was outmanned in this game. Not having Talbott was definitely a blow. However....as I stated in the pregame thread....Harrrison's O-line...not including the center...is their weak link on the offensive side of the ball.

 

No one...and I mean no one...should have expected Isaac to be "game ready" after missing 4-5 weeks with the shoulder injury.

 

The biggest problem I have with Harrison is they simply aren't physical enough. Questionable dedication at times.

FC looked extra sharp in this game.All the talk of FC not being the same team that beat FHS put a chip on the shoulders of the players.The untouchable comment in the prediction thread was good bulletin board material as well.FC is a very tight knit team and very well coached.If they lose again this year it is doubtful that it will be for any other reason than they played a better team.

Yes I think the untouchable quote was just something that motivated the Flyers to play even harder! Speaking of the untouchable comment, TruB is absent from this thread, I guess he sees that the Flyers are serious!
