Will Brady Break the TD Record?

Featured Replies

How many TD's does he have? And what's Manning's Record?

I think he's at 38. Record is 49? That # sticks in my mind, it may be wrong.

Its gonna be broken...he needs to give the ball to Maroney......I need points so I can make the playoffs in my league.

At their current pace, he will.

Is is just too good for any team in the NFL to stop him. They go for it on 4th down all the time, saying stop me if you can, and the other team does not. It is almost unfair.

They scored TD's in like their first 7 possesions the other night! That is just unheard of. Bellicheck is known for wanting to show up others around the league. You think you have a better QB then he will get his off. Take the WR's the other day. T.O. scores like 4 TD's in a game so what does Moss do... scores that many the first half! He even had a chance at another one!

Brady is going to blow the streak away barring any injuries. It is going to be really interesting to see how many points they hang on the JETS!

I'm kind of wondering what was up with Buffalo in that game. NE has no running game at all and the Bills are letting the best reciever in the league run amok in their defensive backfield? Brady has good blockers and other good recievers, but jeez I think the one guy I try to take away is Moss:creepy:

Guys, I've been saying for weeks the whole point of this season was for Brady to break any records Peyton has. This year has never been about going undefeated or winning the Super Bowl. They picked up all those WRs in the offseason for one reason only -- Brady was sick of Peyton getting all the glory.

Can we change the title of this thread to:

What game will Brady break the TD record?

or

By how many TD's will Brady break the TD record?

Seriously they kill you with so many different personnel groupings. Their two back up running backs to the backups each carried around 10 times for 50 yds! They have the 2 TE package that makes you think run but they throw. They play action, screen, draw. They get Welker matched up on a LBer and it's lights out. They throw to Moss wide open in double coverage. Then out of nowhere Stallworth breaks a long one. Oh yeh that defense isn't too shabby and everybody forgets about Welker and Hobbs in the return game!!!!

I'm with you on the Buffalo game. I was thinking to myself.... self I know you are out of shape but for that kind of money you could do a better job jamming the wide receiver (Moss) to the inside release in that cover 2 then sit in the flats. Their corners are supposed to funnel him to the inside to help the safeties. Instead they let him blow by and it's lights out Maurice Jones Drew style!

Another thing I noticed that the Pats absoloutly wear people out with is throwing uncovered. Watch them if Brady is under center and the DB's are playing off their receivers pretty far or not covering them up. He raises up and throws a BB at the WR for a good gain until they cover them up. I watched him the other night do it 2 straight plays and they scored on the second one. I saw Notre Dame do that a lot last year with Quinn there. They couldn't throw the ball that far this year:)

I think he breaks the record if he remains injury free.

As much as it has sucked to watch my Bears circle the sewage drain, it has been an absolute joy to watch this guy play this year.

I wasn't really old enough to appreciate how great Montana was and I can now imagine what people must have felt when he took the field. Just darn near perfection each and every game. Unbelievable.

Thats kind of what I'm thinking civillecat. If they keep beating people 56-10 someones gonna break his legs though.

Good Lord, is he really that petty?
