October 15, 200719 yr Just for fun discussion... He's on pace for 56 right now... Will Tom Brady keep it up and break Peyton Manning's single season touchdown record?
October 15, 200719 yr Honestly, he should.....the recieving corp of Moss, Welker, Stallworth, Watson, Faulk (and others) with Brady throwing and New England coaching is virtually unstoppable...
October 15, 200719 yr Author Just a little more food for thought.. Through 6 weeks in 2004, Peyton Manning had 17 touchdowns... Brady through 6 weeks has 21.

October 15, 200719 yr Probably will slow some when they get Maroney back. Right now they cant run it.
October 15, 200719 yr Probably will slow some when they get Maroney back. Right now they cant run it. I wouldn't go so far to say that they can't. They really don't have to. I do think when Maroney comes back we'll see a lot of him eating up the clock, especially late, which may lower Brady's production. But, I continue to believe Brady will break the record.
October 15, 200719 yr I hope your not saying that Brady targets are better then Manning's was... The targets on offense are similar.....the running game actually favors those Colts with Edge...the advantage cleary goes to the Patriots defense in that they will give Brady A LOT more chances.....the Colts D couldn't stop the run or get off the field, this Patriots defense is LOADED and will force a ton of 3 and outs and turnovers.....
October 15, 200719 yr I heard a handicapper on the radio this morning say that New England is the highest rated team he has rated since the Vikings in 1998 (when they were 15-1). He said to bet on New England to cover every spread this season - so far that has been the case with one push at 17 points.
October 15, 200719 yr Can't forget that PM plays his home games in a dome, expect a little dropoff during the cold winter in NE.
