October 14, 200718 yr If OSU wins out they would have only beaten 2 ranked teams, Purdue @23 and Michigan @24. This seems crazy for me to believe that this is the best team in the country without being tested.... What does everyone else think???

IMO, I think Ohio State is the best team in the country. I think they are better than LSU ( both D's are sick but Ohio States offense is better IMO ) and all the teams behind them. Yeah, we all know they haven't played the best schedule but they have beaten everyone pretty easily. USF has proved more than OSU. Wins against Auburn and W. VA show that. But I don't think USF is better than OSU.

October 14, 200718 yr Too all of the Ohio State haters we go out and do our jobs each week. Obviously not every team in the country can say that. Can we control what other teams do in the Big 10 no..... do I think we will lose a game at some point, yes. Did we give up 30+ points to a team like Kent State like Louisville did Middle Tennessee State no...... We go out and try to do our job each week and let the rest take care of iself. Our 2006 defense was actually a young defense... they have improved this year. Also, for those of you with a short term memory... we thrashed Cincinnati last year 37-7 who just lost to UL. So until all of the local one hit wonder teams get on our level with our consistency... stop hating and start winning.

Last year means nothing, see LSU/UK last year...... tO$U plays in maybe, maybe, the 3rd best conference in the nation and that is pushing it as the ACC, Big East, and Big 12 are probably better. The media has a LOVE AFFAIR with them. ASU, Hawaii, Kansas, and BC have all taken car of business this year and are not ranked #1? Why?
